Recognitions

She is a 2021 Edward R. Murrow recipient. She also received a Certificate of Excellence as an Outstanding Media Personality from Def Jam Recordings during the 2021 NBA All-Star Weekend. She has received a plethora of other recognitions as well. 

BIOGRAPHY

LaPorsche is an award-winning journalist who works every day to change the world by using a journalistic magnifying glass to examine and help explore culture in its many different forms. She does this by telling compelling video-based and written stories, examining the analytics, utilizing rewarding SEO methods, breaking down the facts, and putting her all into everything she does. LaPorsche enjoys contributing to the content space through creating specialized content catered to a digital-first audience, analyzing analytics to examine successes, and contributing to the digital conversation. She feels you can learn more about a person in one conversation than you can learn about Hogwarts in the entire Harry Potter Series.

LaPorsche is an alumna of the University of Georgia. She has an A.B.J in Digital & Broadcast Journalism and a B.A. in Communication Studies. She is currently working towards a Master’s degree in Educational Technology with a specific focus on Talent Development and Digital Media Instruction. She's a Bill and Melinda Gates Scholar and earned more than $500,000.00 in scholarship funds. She has an exceptional niche for communicating with Millennials and Generation Z on-air and online. She also engages Generation Y, and what she likes to call "Seasoned Sassy Somethings" (Generation X) across social media platforms. 

LaPorsche’s journey through technology led to her receiving a degree in Educational Technology with specific instruction in digital journalism with a concentration in talent development. In other words, she spent time learning how to teach technology to people in a newsroom. She also spent time building the skills and degree necessary to provide technical consultation to a variety of digital agencies trying to find their voice in a growing social space.
