REFLECTION

This class was very interesting because we had to work as a group amid the pandemic to create artifacts for a digital conference. This was pretty hard to do since the pandemic was still unfolding.

The artifact that I really enjoyed creating was the Work Wife Podcast. The professor at the time let me use the podcast I was creating for 5310. The idea was that it was a great way to showcase the content I was working on that people would not have had the chance to see. I was able to create it at work and edit it using EDIUS software. This set me on a path to focus the rest of my program on video creation, podcasts, and social media consultation. The hardest part was probably the editing because I am a slow editor. It takes me some time to learn how to navigate around the software, but I did it and it was succesful.

I really enjoyed the real life feedback I received on the podcast from real life atendees.

ARTIFACT

This is your corporate life podcast with a fly twist! Work Wife is all about the great, the bad and the ugly associated with going to work and still maintaining life away from work in this modern and social media-driven world. I started to think about how I’ve been able to make it through all the tough days...and it’s honestly been due to staying positive and having amazing coworkers. We’ve heard the term work husband...but I’m not too sure our work wives get enough credit. Let’s dive in and learn from each other! Welcome to the work wife podcast peeps!
